Handling means subjecting goods to a series of operations without changing their essential nature or technical characteristics. It covers controlled receipt against the dispatch note, placement on racks, picking from the assigned address and preparation for shipment.
When a product requires work in the warehouse, the customer specifies the changes needed and the handling is carried out accordingly. Label changes, barcode changes and carton changes are performed to a professional standard.
When off-season goods arrive, we remove existing labels, replace paper and cartons, apply new labels to the customer's specification and update product descriptions. Goods are prepared exactly to the destination and conditions the customer requires.
Handling is also a defined category in customs and regulatory terms: ventilation, sorting, drying, dust removal, simple cleaning, packaging repair, remedying damage sustained during transport or storage, and label application all fall within its scope.
